CKDU-FM would like to help provide publicity for fund raising and cultural events for non-profit organizations. In addition to the standard Public Service Announcements made throughout the day, if your event meets our qualifications, we would like to help with some free ads.

If we are the station where you think your music will be heard, or the station where you know your music is being heard, and you are just about to release your new album, then we'd love to help you promote your event. All we ask is that you return the favour and put CKDU's logo on your promotional items and allow CKDU to put up a banner at your event.

Please include the PSA in the body of the email. We do not open attachments. And please make sure the PSA is written for broadcast use. (Use proper sentences and refrain from using the first person [I, we, us, etc.] or put the event information in who/what/where/when/why form with the appropriate contact information. And remember: brevity is the soul of wit.

CKDU is always looking for new and interesting jingles and station IDs. If you're feeling creative, you can mail your creations to the address above. Creations must include the call letters - CKDU, the frequency - 88.1 FM, and the location - Halifax.
